'Gossling' Original Artwork
Sold to a valued collector — with deep gratitude for their support and appreciation of my work.
Original: Coloured pencil on acid-free, lightly textured paper
5" x 7"
This drawing captures a young Canadian goose surrounded by spring blooms. The focus is on texture—the softness of the feathers and the curve of the petals. This piece is about noticing quiet things...new life set against delicate surroundings.
Did you know both Canada goose parents care for their young? The male and female share the responsibility of protecting and guiding the goslings, often fiercely. Despite being newly hatched, Goslings are remarkably independent and mobile almost immediately. They can walk, swim, and feed themselves within 24 hours of hatching.
